Liverpool could be set to swoop for a second Porto player following the stunning start Luis Diaz has made to life at Anfield.

Diaz arrived at the club during the January transfer window for a fee that could rise to £50million and has already netted two goals in six Premier League matches. And following the huge success of the January signing, the Reds could return for another Porto player in the near future.

It comes as the Reds have been told that Barcelona’s interest in Mohamed Salah could be a blessing in disguise. And Virgil van Dijk has questioned the tactics he’s having to play under Louis van Gaal at international level.

And in typical fashion, the Holland manager has sensationally hit back at Van Dijk’s comments.

That has led to Spanish giants Barcelona reportedly registering their interest in signing the player, and selling may just appeal to Jurgen Klopp.

With little time left on his contract with the Anfield outfit, the coming transfer window could be Liverpool’s last chance to turn a profit on the £37million they initially spent on him.

Second Porto swoop eyed

Liverpool could return to Luis Diaz’s former club Porto in a bid to pull off a second major transfer coup.

The Reds have reportedly sent assistant manager Pep Lijnders to watch Vitinha and keep an eye on the Portuguese midfielder’s progress. Vitinha, who had a disappointing loan spell at Wolves last season, reportedly has a £33.3million release clause in his contract.

But after impressing back in his homeland this season, the Reds could face stiff competition for his signature.
