This allows current president Joan Laporta to sell 25% of the club’s La Liga broadcasting rights and 49.9% of the club’s official Barca Licensing and Merchandising subsidiary.

The move could provide a £600m cash injection – meaning Barcelona may not necessarily have to part ways with De Jong.
